WEBSITE USE
This website is provided for general information about Bridgewater Photography, its services, portfolio, availability, enquiries and contact details.

You agree to use this website lawfully and responsibly. You must not use the website in any way that could damage the website, interfere with its operation, misuse its content, attempt unauthorised access, or use it for unlawful or harmful purposes.

Bridgewater Photography aims to keep the website accurate and up to date, but information may occasionally be incomplete, outdated or subject to change. The website content is provided for general guidance only and does not create a binding agreement unless a booking has been confirmed directly by Bridgewater Photography.

PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES
Bridgewater Photography provides professional photography services for individuals, families, businesses, organisations, events, campaigns and creative projects.

The exact service provided will depend on the package, booking, project, brief, agreement or quotation confirmed with the client. Services may include consultation, planning, photography, editing, image selection, image delivery, prints, digital galleries, portfolio work, branding sessions, commercial photography, product photography, family photography, maternity photography, wedding or ceremony photography, event photography and related creative support.

Any specific requirements, deadlines, locations, image uses, shot lists, editing requests, deliverables or additional services should be discussed and agreed before the booking is confirmed.

ENQUIRIES AND QUOTES
Submitting an enquiry through the website, by email, telephone, social media or any other method does not create a confirmed booking.

Quotes are based on the information provided by the client at the time of enquiry. If the requirements change, Bridgewater Photography may need to revise the quote.

A quote may include the photography session, editing time, travel, image delivery, prints, digital files, commercial use, licensing, additional hours, retouching or other agreed items. Anything not included in the quote may be charged separately.

Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote. If no period is stated, the quote may be subject to change at any time before a booking is confirmed.

BOOKINGS
A booking is only confirmed once Bridgewater Photography has accepted the booking and any required deposit, booking fee or payment has been received.

Bridgewater Photography may request information from the client before the photoshoot, including location details, timings, contact details, creative requirements, shot lists, access arrangements, business information, event details, names of participants, or any other information needed to carry out the work.

The client is responsible for providing accurate information and notifying Bridgewater Photography promptly of any changes.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
Bridgewater Photography may require a deposit or booking fee to secure a date. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits and booking fees are used to reserve the photographer’s time and may be non-refundable if the client cancels or fails to attend.

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking or on the invoice. The client agrees to pay all amounts due by the stated deadline.

Final images, galleries, prints, downloads or other deliverables may be withheld until full payment has been received.

Late payments may result in delays to image delivery, gallery access, print orders or future bookings. Bridgewater Photography reserves the right to charge reasonable costs or interest where payment remains overdue.

CANCELLATIONS BY THE CLIENT
If the client needs to cancel a booking, they should contact Bridgewater Photography as soon as possible.

Cancellation terms may depend on the type of booking, notice given, work already completed, costs already incurred, and whether the date can be rebooked.

Where a deposit or booking fee has been paid, this may be non-refundable because the date and time were reserved for the client. Bridgewater Photography may, at its discretion, offer to move the booking to another suitable date.

For events, weddings, ceremonies, commercial projects, campaign work or larger bookings, separate cancellation terms may apply if agreed in writing.

RESCHEDULING
If the client needs to reschedule a booking, Bridgewater Photography will try to accommodate a new date where reasonably possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

If a booking is rescheduled at short notice, or if costs have already been incurred, additional charges may apply.

For outdoor photoshoots, bad weather, unsafe conditions or other practical issues may require the session to be rearranged. Bridgewater Photography will discuss this with the client where possible.

CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING BY BRIDGEWATER PHOTOGRAPHY
Bridgewater Photography will make every reasonable effort to attend confirmed bookings and provide the agreed services.

However, in rare circumstances, Bridgewater Photography may need to cancel or reschedule due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, equipment failure, travel disruption, severe weather, venue restrictions or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where possible, Bridgewater Photography will offer an alternative date, suitable replacement photographer, revised arrangement or refund of amounts paid for services not provided. Bridgewater Photography will not be responsible for indirect losses, additional costs or expenses beyond the amount paid for the affected service, unless required by law.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The client is responsible for arriving on time, ensuring participants are ready, providing accurate information, obtaining any necessary permissions, securing access to locations, arranging suitable clothing or products, and ensuring that any venue, property, model, child, performer, employee, guest or third party involved is properly informed.

For business, branding, campaign, product or commercial photography, the client is responsible for ensuring that products, props, premises, staff, models, branding, documents and other materials are ready and available at the agreed time.

If delays, lack of access, missing items, unsuitable conditions or client changes affect the session, Bridgewater Photography may not be able to complete all planned images and additional time may be charged.

CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS
Where a photoshoot involves children or vulnerable individuals, the client must ensure that appropriate consent has been obtained from a parent, guardian, responsible adult, school, organisation, charity, agency or authorised person where required.

A responsible adult must be present during photoshoots involving children unless otherwise agreed and appropriate.

Bridgewater Photography reserves the right to stop or refuse any shoot if there are concerns about safety, consent, safeguarding, behaviour or wellbeing.

IMAGE STYLE AND CREATIVE CONTROL
Clients are encouraged to review Bridgewater Photography’s portfolio before booking to ensure the style is suitable for their needs.

Photography is a creative service, and final images will reflect the photographer’s professional judgement, artistic style, lighting, editing approach and the conditions of the shoot.

Bridgewater Photography will consider client preferences and agreed briefs, but cannot guarantee exact replication of images, poses, lighting, colours, backgrounds, weather conditions, expressions, or results from other photographers or previous shoots.

EDITING AND RETOUCHING
Standard editing may include colour correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, contrast, basic skin correction, image selection and general finishing in Bridgewater Photography’s style.

Advanced retouching, background changes, body reshaping, extensive object removal, complex product editing, image manipulation or additional editing requests may incur extra charges.

Raw, unedited or unfinished image files are not normally supplied unless agreed in writing.

IMAGE SELECTION AND DELIVERY
Bridgewater Photography will select and edit the final images unless a different arrangement has been agreed.

Images may be delivered through an online gallery, digital download, email, USB, print order, file transfer or another suitable method.

Delivery times may vary depending on the type of shoot, number of images, editing requirements, workload, payment status and any third-party services involved. Any estimated delivery time is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

PRINTS, PRODUCTS AND DIGITAL FILES
Where prints, albums, framed products, downloads or other products are ordered, the client is responsible for checking order details before confirming the purchase.

Colours may appear differently on different screens, devices and printed materials. Bridgewater Photography is not responsible for differences caused by client screen settings, third-party printers or unauthorised printing by the client.

Once digital files have been delivered, refunds may not be available unless the files are faulty or there is another legal reason.

COPYRIGHT AND OWNERSHIP
Copyright in all photographs and images created by Bridgewater Photography remains with Bridgewater Photography, unless expressly transferred in writing.

Purchasing a photoshoot, digital image, print or gallery does not automatically transfer copyright to the client.

Clients are usually granted permission to use the final images for personal use, agreed business use, portfolio use, campaign use or another agreed purpose, depending on the type of booking and licence granted.

Images must not be edited, altered, resold, entered into competitions, used commercially beyond the agreed purpose, supplied to third parties, used in advertising, or used in a way that damages the reputation of Bridgewater Photography without prior written permission.

PERSONAL USE LICENCE
For family, maternity, portrait, personal portfolio, wedding, ceremony or similar personal photography, clients may usually use the supplied final images for personal purposes, such as printing for personal use, sharing with family and friends, and posting on personal social media.

Where images are shared publicly, Bridgewater Photography appreciates credit where possible.

Personal use does not include commercial advertising, paid promotion, resale, brand campaigns, publication, business use, or third-party use unless agreed in writing.

COMMERCIAL USE LICENCE
For branding, campaign, product, model, acting portfolio, business, event or commercial photography, the permitted use of images will depend on the agreement or licence provided.

Commercial use may be limited by duration, territory, platform, campaign, business, publication, purpose or third-party involvement. The client must not exceed the agreed licence without written permission.

Additional fees may apply for extended commercial use, advertising campaigns, publication, resale, third-party use, agency use or wider licensing.

MODEL RELEASES AND PUBLIC USE OF IMAGES
Bridgewater Photography may request permission to use images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, awards, exhibitions, printed materials, promotional content or other business purposes.

Where a model release, client agreement, campaign agreement or consent form is used, the image use will be governed by that agreement.

Clients should inform Bridgewater Photography before the shoot if there are privacy concerns, safeguarding concerns, confidentiality requirements, restrictions on public use, or people who must not be photographed or published.

CONFIDENTIALITY
For commercial, campaign, branding or private client work, Bridgewater Photography will take reasonable steps to respect confidential information shared during the project.

The client should clearly identify any confidential information, embargoed content, unreleased products, private locations, sensitive images or restricted materials before the shoot.

VENUES, PERMISSIONS AND LOCATION ACCESS
The client is responsible for obtaining permission to use any venue, property, public space, private land, business premises or location required for the photoshoot, unless otherwise agreed.

Any fees, permits, parking charges, travel costs, access charges, licence fees or venue costs are the client’s responsibility unless included in the quote.

Bridgewater Photography is not responsible if a shoot cannot proceed because access, permission, parking, safety or venue arrangements were not properly organised by the client.

BEHAVIOUR AND SAFETY
Bridgewater Photography reserves the right to stop, cancel or leave a photoshoot if there is abusive behaviour, unsafe conduct, harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, dangerous conditions, unreasonable demands, lack of consent, safeguarding concerns, or any situation that puts the photographer, client, participants or public at risk.

In these circumstances, refunds may not be provided.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Bridgewater Photography will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

However, Bridgewater Photography will not be liable for loss, damage, delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including illness, accident, equipment failure, weather, venue restrictions, power failure, internet failure, data loss, third-party service failure, travel disruption, acts of God, public emergency or other unforeseen circumstances.

Bridgewater Photography’s total liability will usually be limited to the amount paid by the client for the affected service, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

COMPLAINTS
If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact Bridgewater Photography as soon as possible so that the issue can be reviewed.

Any concerns about images, editing, delivery, prints or service should be raised promptly after delivery. Bridgewater Photography will consider reasonable concerns and may offer corrections, replacements or other appropriate solutions where justified.
