I thought I would share with you all my Photography journey...
Hello my name is Donna Bridgewater, I found my love for Photography when I started exploring Documentary Photography whilst at College. I studied Photography at Sutton Coldfield College and then went on to complete my 3 year Degree in Photography at Coventry University. My time at University I completed a lot of documentary projects mainly around real life social stories, creating images that tell a story. While at University I completed work at The Coventry Telegraph Newspaper which was very fun. I completed my Teaching Degree whilst teaching at Hereward College. I am still teaching at the college after many years mainly in Mixed Media and Photography on the wonderful Foundation Pathway that I love. All the staff and students are a delight to work with. I now teach part time and run my business called Bridgewater Photography. I started the business with support from The Prince's Trust, which is a great charity. I also work as a Youth Ambassador for them, in this role I talk about my business and help to inspire young people and supporters of the trust. Running Bridgewater Photography has led me to meet beautiful people along the way. The photography work I do and have done: family, new-born, maternity, model portfolios, fashion, product, food and drink photography for Deliveroo and Uber Eats, events, weddings, celebrations, education event for Google, marketing for education, training in photography for small businesses and companies, 1-1 photography mentoring.
I love getting to meet new people through my business, creating memories that people can treasure, capturing behind the scenes magical photos and also really planning a fun, unique and creative photo shoot for customers. I am a Photographer located in Birmingham, West Midlands but I am always happy to travel for work.
Stay safe everyone!
